Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Vertex Exchange. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Vertex Exchange platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

To use Vertex Exchange, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not be located in a jurisdiction where cryptocurrency trading is prohibited
• Not be on any government sanctions or prohibited persons list

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

• One account per person/entity is permitted
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account
• You are responsible for all trades made from your account

4. Permitted Use

You may use Vertex Exchange only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the platform for money laundering or terrorist financing
• Engage in market manipulation or fraudulent trading
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated bots without our express written permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Trading Rules

All trades are subject to the following rules:

• Orders are executed at the price displayed at submission time
• Buy & Sell orders must be completed within the specified time window (30 minutes for buy orders)
• Vertex Exchange reserves the right to cancel orders that violate our policies
• Minimum transaction amounts apply as stated on the platform

6. Fees

Fees are charged as described in our Trading Fees page. We reserve the right to modify fees with 14 days' notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of new fees.

7. Risk Disclosure

Cryptocurrency trading involves significant risk. You acknowledge that:

• Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and can change rapidly
• You may lose some or all of your invested capital
• Past performance is not indicative of future results
• You are solely responsible for your trading decisions
• We do not provide financial or investment advice

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a risk to our platform or other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vertex Exchange shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to losses from trading decisions, technical failures, or unauthorized account access.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Vertex Exchange shall be resolved through binding arbitration or competent courts.
